I am an energy and environmental economist. My research asks who gains and who bears the costs as the clean energy transition reshapes communities and industries: how carbon capture and hydrogen infrastructure affect nearby property values, how households adopt solar and batteries together, and how industrial policy and trade shape clean energy supply chains. I use causal inference, large administrative and survey datasets, and integrated assessment modeling (GCAM).

I am Co-PI on the $750,000 Alfred P. Sloan Foundation project Made in America? Unpacking the Drivers and Impacts of Domestic Clean Energy Manufacturing, and on a $100,000 Social Security Administration–funded study of energy burden among older adults and people with disabilities in New York City public housing. I received my Ph.D. in Public Policy from the University of Maryland in 2024.
